A colonial scene depicted in the round where a white woman receives a cup of drinking chocolate from a Black servant. On the table to her left, are morning pastries and a pitcher presumed to contain the hot beverage. Finely painted floral motifs adorning her dress and robe are also featured on the base of the porcelain sculpture.
