About the work

Curationist LogoCurationist Object Description
This album features finely incised jade and gold-pigmented calligraphy throughout. It was made during the reign of the fourth emperor of the Qing dynasty, Qianlong, named Hongli at birth. He significantly contributed to the literary and artistic community in China during his reign in the 18th century. It is hard to determine whether the emperor authored this work as many writings were created by other artists and then attributed to him.
