National Museum of African American History and Culture Object Description
A black-and-white photograph portrait of an unidentified woman. The woman is gazing off-frame to the proper left, and she has long hair that is braided or fastened into a bun at the nape of her neck. She is wearing a light-colored blouse and a necklace watch or a pocket watch worn on a cord. Her portrait is superimposed on top of a stylized background of a scroll. Behind the scroll is a line drawing of a snowscape with snow-covered pine trees, people walking down a snowy lane, and people ice skating on a frozen lake.
